Hiring the right contractor for our renovation project was important to us. We wanted a contractor with experience in FHA 203k loans, that was responsive, qualified, could keep schedule, was flexible, and lastly was down to earth and provide excellent customer service. After interviewing several contractors and receiving quotes for our work. We are happy to say we found all of what we were looking for in PCS (Professional Construction Specialist of Port Richey FL) and are happy to provide this review.

From the start PCS was personally engaged. We had direct meetings with the each of the specialist handling our project. When we asked a question, PCS responded. By text, phone, email, or in person, PCS had the answer. Renovation projects can take a lot of twists and turns and we were very pleased to see how PCS responded. They went above and beyond our expectations with regard to customer satisfaction. As a quality assurance professional I can be very detail orientated and if something came up that we did not expect, PCS was able to remedy the situation, even if it meant doing more than they were contracted to do. I can tell you when they say customer service is their number one goal, they mean it.

An example is we had a concrete border at the end of our driveway damaged during the project. We did not have any hard evidence it was caused by anyone on the renovation team, it could have been damaged by a neighbor, or anyone driving down the block, but without hesitation when we brought this to PCS’s attention, they said they would repair it at no cost. They could have fought us on this, but they did not and I think that is one of the best testaments to show how serious they are about customer satisfaction.

The work we had completed on our project included installing a new kitchen with island and back-splash, new tile flooring, relocating the laundry from the first to the second floor, replacing the tub and shower in the guest bath, painting, and more. Everything came out wonderful. The kitchen is beautiful, better than we could have imagined, we were able to pick out all of the cabinets, and went in person to the stone yard to pick out the slate of granite used for our counter tops and island. All of the electrical, plumbing, flooring and painting was done professionally and to our satisfaction. Throughout the project that lasted about 8 weeks, PCS maintained a safe and clean work space, treating our home as if it was their own and cleaning up each and every day. We just could not be more appreciative of everything PCS has done for us in completing this project on time and in budget which is not something you often hear when someone utters the word ‘contractor’.

In conclusion, if you want a contractor who is professional, flexible, down to earth, and will do everything in their power to assure you are satisfied, consider PCS, you won’t be disappointed.

Description of work:

install new kitchen, cabinets, back-splash, granite counter tops, custom design island, new plumbing and electric to appliances, replace ceiling fans, relocate laundry to second floor, drywall, tile flooring, carpet stairways, new hand rails, install wired smoke detector system, replace tub and shower and new tile in guest bath, interior painting throughout.

I had a pipe break in my kitchen, These guys were great, they helped me deal with my insurance company. Explained every step of the process to me. They were very professional. The sales guy help me pick out everything the cabinets to the flooring. I would refer these guys to everyone. I love my Fabulous new kitchen.

I used PCS (Professional Construction Specialist) last fall for some cosmetic repairs due to sinkhole damage to my property. PCS performed repairs on our home after a water leak that ruined our laundry room, bathroom and parts of our living room and garage. PCS showed up on-time and worked late most days. Every day when they left, the work areas where clean and neat. They completed the project quickly and professionally and were very pleased with their work. When we decide to do other remodeling in our home we will be calling PCS.
